In 1947, my grandparents, contractually with Shell Belgium, opened the service station “Simbra”. It quickly became the largest in the region. Very soon the passion of mechanics took my grandfather and he fell in love with the line of a beautiful Swedish. His station then became a workshop-garage dedicated to the Volvo brand. This brand was not yet well represented and known in Belgium but it was already a symbol of reliability, robustness and security. In our eyes, the Volvo still maintains these values.

1995 will be a difficult year for Garage Leroux. Volvo restructures its agents and dealers. We must remove our official sign. We decide to stay in the race, thanks to the loyalty of our customers, the excellent contacts kept within the mother company and the support of the nearby dealers.
In 2001, our team consists of Stéphane and his wife, a mechanic and an apprentice position. The company has adapted to current automotive technologies and standards, we are strengthening our reputation for service and quality work.
The current car fleet will still be able to ride some good years. We can therefore continue to provide quality after-sales service. Faced with the new arrangements in terms of ecology, economy, we will respond to the specific demands of our customers. Our independence from the manufacturer gives us a definite advantage. We can keep our customized services in listening and respecting our customers.
